Mrs. Wilson Room 110

Hi!  My name is Mrs. Wilson and this is my 18th year teaching kindergarten in the West Mifflin Area School District.  I was born and raised in West Mifflin and I am a proud graduate of West Mifflin High School.  I attended Slippery Rock University and earned my degree in elementary education.  In 2000, I started working in West Mifflin as a substitute teacher and a Read to Succeed aide.  Three years later, I was so excited to be hired full time as a kindergarten teacher at Clara Barton Elementary and I am still excited to be there every day.  Kindergarten is a magical year.  So many special moments occur during the year.  The amount of growth I see in each student by the end of the year is amazing.   At the end of each school day, I love coming home to my family.   We have two sons.  Their names are Cooper and Camden.  My husband is a college football coach.  We are a very active and busy family.  My boys are involved in multiple sports and I love to watch them play.  We like to ride bikes, ski, swim and pretty much anything that involves being outdoors and being together.
